At its annual Congress in Biarritz, France, Relais & Chateaux, a collection of luxury hotels and restaurants, announced its newest members. A total of 31 properties have been accepted.
Among the new faces are Windham Hill in Vermont, Trout Point Lodge in Nova Scotia, Esperanza in Cabo San Lucas, Hotel St. Germain in Texas, and Sonora Resort in British Columbia. Hotel Le Toiny in St. Barthelemy was named a Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux.
Other properties include 17 in Europe, two in Africa, five in Asia, one in South America and one in Australia. This brings the membership to 475 in 57 countries.
