Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas Moves Up Opening Date

The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas has moved up its opening date from December 1 to November 22, just in time for a Thanksgiving vacation. To take advantage of the earlier opening, the resort will offer several festive experiences for guests visiting over Thanksgiving, including a traditional, Caribbean Thanksgiving sorrel beverage and a Thanksgiving-inspired dinner cruise on the property’s new catamaran, the Lady Lynsey II.

The luxury resort’s food and beverage outlets will be getting into the holiday spirit as well. The newly renovated Club Lounge will have Thanksgiving-themed treats for children, such as candy corn, caramel and ice cream, and the resort’s original culinary concepts, Sails Restaurant and Coconut Cove, will offer a pair of festive experiences: a family-friendly Thanksgiving Beach Barbecue in Sails and a Thanksgiving menu with more traditional fare in in Coconut Cove. Alloro, the hotel’s new restaurant, will serve a family-style Italian Thanksgiving feast.

Additionally, the Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas Spa will offer a Thanksgiving-inspired massage and facial using natural ingredients from the region.

When it opens the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas will be fresh off a $100 million refurbishment following Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017, a project that included a redesign of the resort’s public spaces, all 180 guestrooms and suites, dining venues and meetings and event spaces. The property has also remodeled its infinity pool and added a second pool with a slide for families, as well as the Lady Lynsey II, which, in addition to the Thanksgiving dinner cruise, will also offer twice daily excursions to explore Jost Van Dyke and St. Johns
