Rosewood Mayakoba Celebrates 10th Anniversary With New Amenities

Rosewood Mayakoba is celebrating 10 years with a slew of new resort enhancements and amenities for guests. For guests visiting March 9 and 10, Rosewood Mayakoba will be hosting a celebration fiesta. The weekend-long “thank you” in appreciation of resort guests will include an array of events, concluding with a five-course gala dinner at Punta Bonita overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The new property enhancements and amenities will include:

Taco Academy Series: Honoring the culinary heritage of Mexico, Rosewood Mayakoba will present its inaugural Taco Academy Series, showcasing the unique traditions, ingredients and approaches to making authentic tacos. Rosewood Mayakoba's own Chef Juan Pablo Loza invites guests to learn how to make the specialty first-hand. During this three-day experience, guests will cook side-by-side with award-winning chefs at the resort’s outdoor La Ceiba Kitchen & Garden. Casa del Lago and Aqui Me Quedo will also be offering a selection of menu additions created exclusively created by visiting chefs.

Marry Oneself Journey: Located on its own private island in the heart of Rosewood Mayakoba, Sense, A Rosewood Spa has debuted Marry Oneself Journey, a unique three-day/four-night personal retreat focusing on self-love. Inspired by ancient Mayan traditions, guests re-engage with their inner selves amongst the lush backdrop of the Riviera Maya. The personalized luxury experience includes a series of guided rituals led by Rosewood Mayakoba’s resident Shaman and spa experiences, culminating with a ceremony of self-commitment. Guests will also be treated to the resort’s skin care and massage treatments.

Sense, A Rosewood Spa, Partners with Maison Caulieres and Evidens de Beaute: Sense, A Rosewood Spa has also partnered with two exclusive skincare lines, Maison Caulieres and Evidens de Beaute, to create customized experiences.

Give & Grow: Guests can help support a primary and middle school on the Riviera Maya funded by guests, associates and friends of Rosewood Mayakoba. Centro Educativo K’iin Beh, a newly built school located 15 minutes from the resort, was established for the children of its employees and local youth. Serving 200-plus students in its inaugural year, the school offers bilingual, full-time education for children. Guests will have the opportunity to donate directly to the school or participate in giving back through hands-on, on-site projects.
