Sailrock Resort Reopens After Hurricanes Irma, Maria Forced Closure

Sailrock Resort, a luxury resort on South Caicos, Turks and Caicos, has announced that it has reopened its doors to guests following a closure due to back-to-back hurricanes Irma and Maria

New for the festive season, the resort is elevating its epicurean line-up with The Cove Restaurant + Beach Bar. Located just steps away from Caicos Bank, the venue provides travelers with a casual dining experience overlooking the water.

The menu will serve fresh takes on classic Caribbean fare and flavors, including signature South Caicos dishes like cracked conch and fresh island grouper. The Cove Restaurant + Beach Bar is led by chef Francois Alias, who also oversees the flagship dining venue, The Great House Restaurant.

Sailrock Resort's trademark Beachfront Villas offer luxurious beachfront accommodations blending indoor and outdoor living. Offering greater flexibility to clients, guests can now book One- and Two-Bedroom Beachfront Villas, in addition to the Three- and Four-Bedroom options that have been available since the resort's opening in January.

Both the One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Beachfront Villas have private pools and over-sized terraces overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, as well as elegant interior details including spa-style bathrooms and eat-in kitchens. One-Bedroom Beachfront Villas accommodate one couple or a small family, and Two-Bedroom Beachfront Villas sleep up to seven guests.

Sailrock Resort is excited to welcome guests back to South Caicos with the help of the South Caicos Heritage Foundation (SCHF), which has been instrumental in supporting the recovery, renewal and restoration of the rich culture and history of the island.

Sailrock's "Jetset to South Caicos" Package

To encourage travelers to experience the luxurious island escape, Sailrock Resort is offering a "Jetset to South Caicos" package, which offers 35 percent off the best available room rates and an island hop airfare included from the main Turks and Caicos airport (PLS) to South Caicos (XSC). Clients can book now for stays from January 2 through November 19. Rates start at $471 per night.
