Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya’s Naum Wellness & Spa unveiled a new menu focusing on traditional Mayan rituals. The six-suite center will offer several new 90- to 120-minute special rituals and numerous facials, massages and body treatments.
The new menu, created by the spa’s manager Daniel Escalante, centers on treatments inspired by traditional Mayan ‘rituals.’ Each of these special offerings consists of three parts: a Mayan Time of Reflection, the treatment and a Mayan Celebration.
Riutal Sac Ki will begin with a dry exfoliation, ridding the body of toxins and revealing fresher and brighter skin. The treatment continues with a massage using anti-inflammatory sacred copal oil. Ritual de Ixi’im y Chia offers the antioxidant Blue Corn and Chia, as well as a shea butter massage with calendula extract. Couples can also choose one of the Lovers Retreat rituals, such as the Eternal Romance Ritual.
The spa will also provide various facials, massages and body treatments, many in partnership with beauty brands Naturopathica and Barbor. Offerings include the 90-minute Naum Signature Treatment, the 60- or 90-minute Mayan Stone Massage, the 60-minute Vitamin C Facial by Barbor, the 60-minute Gentleman’s Facial by Barbor, the 90-minute Anti-Aging Facial by Naturopathica, the 60-minute Xoco – Tequila Body Wrap and the 60-minute Jade Oro y Plata Body Wrap.
