Starwood to Open Three Westins in India

Starwood Hotels & Resorts will manage three new Westin hotels in the cities of Hyderabad, Pune and Calcutta in India. The Westin Hyderabad is scheduled to open in 2009 with 428 rooms, four restaurants and bars and a spa. The property will be part of a mixed-use development that also will contain a 700,000-square-foot mall. The 277-room Westin Pune, also opening in 2009 within a mixed-use complex, will feature 31 suites, multiple restaurants and bars.
