Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort Has New Director of Sales

Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort has named Christy Connolly as the newest addition to the team as director of sales. Connolly is an expert in the field with more than 15 years of experience as a sales manager.

Connolly is no stranger to the Caribbean. For the past seven years she worked with Resorts & Residences by CuisinArt in Anguilla as the director of sales, with full responsibility of all leisure and group sales, sales budgets and global sales strategies and initiatives to maximize revenue and achieve strategic goals. Prior to that, she also gained experience as the director of sales at Hotel St. Barth Isle de France.

Set within more than 100 acres of rainforest in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Val des Pitons, Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, has views of the Caribbean Sea and the Pitons. Sitting on the site of an old sugar plantation, the resort features a range of guestrooms, cottages, bungalows and villas, each with its own private plunge pool. The resort’s Rainforest Spa has individual treatment rooms housed in their own tree-house. Signature experiences include bamboo massages, hot rock therapies and holistic treatments, each harnessing the ingredients of nearby volcanic springs and cocoa plantations. Guests can go hiking, ATV biking, zip-lining and diving. They can also enjoy the selection of experiences that enable them to immerse themselves in local culture and history.
