WestCord Hotels, a collection of 12 unique properties located throughout the Netherlands, recently launched their own hotel brand instead of continuing to rely on a third party management company and has turned to SynXis, part of Sabre Hospitality Solutions. The decision will provide complete hotel distribution, internet marketing and channel management solutions worldwide. All properties will be switched to SynXis’ RedX Distribution Management System for distribution across multiple channels.

WestCord’s portfolio features a variety of properties, each with individual themes and unique selling points. The hotel group needed a solution that would enhance the chain’s online merchandising opportunities and maximize their marketing efforts. Bookings made via WestCord’s website will be made through SynXis’ premier booking engine, Guest Connect. With its simple customization possibilities and merchandising flexibility designed to increase guest conversion rates, Guest Connect will help showcase the distinctive guest experience each WestCord property has to offer.
The hotel group will rely on RedX as their single distribution platform to connect them to the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and leading online travel sites. In addition, WestCord’s properties will rely on SynXis’ third party integration product, Property Connect, for two-way integration to their Hotel Concepts property management system. The two-way interface improves hotel efficiencies with automated reservation delivery, as well as inventory, rates, and restriction (stay controls) uploads.
