Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a portfolio of upscale hotels launched in 2017, has added its 12th location, the Distrikt Hotel New York City. The chain’s second Manhattan property is set in the neighborhoods of Midtown and Times Square, near many of the city’s main attractions.
Distrikt Hotel, originally opened in February 2010, is within walking distance of key locations like Broadway and High Line Park. When visitors aren’t exploring the city, they can grab a specialty cocktail at the Collage Bistro & Bar or work out at the Mid-City Gym.
Now that it is a member of the Tapestry Collection portfolio, guests at Distrikt Hotel can receive benefits from Hilton’s guest-loyalty program Hilton Honors. Members who book directly have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that lets guests choose how much of their bill they want to pay in cash or points, an exclusive member discount and free standard Wi-Fi.
Tapestry Collection by Hilton is one of the hospitality company’s 15 hotel brands. The portfolio specializes in unique, high-end properties and has plans for a global expansion. The collection’s parent company Hilton includes over 5,500 properties with almost 895,000 rooms, in 109 countries and territories. In its almost 100 years of business, the company has accommodated over 3 billion guests.
