Marriott International has announced the launch of Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection in Vietnam. It is located from the 47th to 71st floors of Vietnam’s tallest skyscraper, on the west bank of the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh district. Rising 81 stories from street level, the Landmark 81 tower can be viewed from all parts of the city and its crowning spire is so high that it is sometimes shrouded in clouds. Completed in 2018, this impressive edifice also houses a mall, an ice skating rink, a cinema, children’s play center and multiple dining venues, all surrounded by parks, shops, restaurants and bars, and just a short distance from the city’s cultural and historical attractions.
The hotel’s 223 rooms and suites (starting from the 49th floor) all have floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the city’s skyline and Saigon River. Modern interior design is seamlessly blended with artistic flourishes and contemporary Vietnamese esthetics. On the 68th floor is the 5,253-square-foot Presidential Suite, while the 71st-floor club lounge offers exclusive services for guests staying in club floor rooms and suites.
The Oriental Pearl is the "sky high" restaurant, where diners can savor buffet dinners from Thursday to Sunday. At The Cloud, guests can sit back and sip Vietnamese coffee, crafted chocolates and other artisan delicacies by day, and cool cocktails and a range of fine wines and organic vintages after dark.
Akoya Spa houses 10 treatment rooms where therapists offer a range of massages and body treatments that blend ancient Asian technique with modern medical science. Guests can feel invigorated at the salon, sauna or steam room, cool off in the 1,291-square-foot outdoor infinity pool and work out with the latest equipment.
The hotel additionally has one ballroom, 10 meeting rooms and three terraces on the 48th, 66th and 69th floors. The Grand Ballroom can host 1,000 guests and has a drive-in entrance for cars. A team of professional planners, creative caterers and the latest technology will also be available.
