W Hotels Worldwide to Open W Algarve on Portugal’s Coast

 

W Hotels Worldwide, now part of Marriott International, has announced it will open the W Algarve in 2018 in Portugal, developed in partnership with Nozul Algarve, S.A.

Located on nearly 2.7 million square feet of beachfront on the central Algarve coastline, W Algarve will have 134 guest rooms and suites, including two Extreme WOW Suites. In addition to the WET deck pool, guests will also be able to enjoy the 10,000-square-foot spa, outdoor yoga, tennis, or FIT, the hotel's workout facility. The W Living Room – W’s take on a lobby – will have a variety of culinary and cocktail options.

W Algarve will also have two ultra-modern meeting rooms. The meeting rooms are complemented by extensive outdoor facilities suited for open-air events or beachfront celebrations. 

The brand's Whatever/Whenever service will be available 24/7, providing jetsetters with whatever they want, from late-night manicures to speed boat experiences.

W Algarve will also have 81 W-branded Residences for purchase, in one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The W-branded Residences give owners access to all W amenities and services, including preferred dining reservations and seating at the hotel's restaurants, bars and lounges; in-residence dining and STYLE housekeeping services; a private W Residences pool and the brand's signature Whatever/Whenever service. 

As part of the W Escape portfolio, W Algarve will provide a Sunset Beats ritual nightly, which has included live drummers at W Barcelona's WET deck, DJ sets on the beach at W Maldives, and lounge music and cocktails around the fire pit at W Vieques.
