InterContinental Hotel Group has announced the opening of the InterContinental London – The O2. Located on the Greenwich Peninsula, The O2 is close to sites like The Cutty Sark, Greenwich Observatory and the Maritime Museum. It also has views of the River Thames, Canary Wharf and London landmarks.
Guests are welcomed to dine at five destination-inspired restaurants and bars, including The Peninsula Restaurant and rooftop sky bar, Eighteen. Guests can sip drinks at Eighteen while taking in its panoramas of London’s skyline.
The O2 is also equipped to host large groups and events with a 33,300-square-foot ballroom, which is also pillar-free. There are also 19 meeting rooms and more than 17,000 square feet of pre-function space with views of Canary Wharf.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has 30 InterContinental Hotels in Europe and a further five in the pipeline, as of September 2015.
