Preferred Hotels & Resorts announced the scheduled opening this March in Bali, Indonesia, of The Katamama. The property was designed by Indonesian architect Andra Martin in collaboration with PTT Family.
When it opens, The Katamama – the first Preferred Hotels & Resorts Legend Collection property in Bali – will have 58 suites with Indonesian influences. The hotel will also have bespoke design elements crafted by local artisans.
All of The Katamama suites will have king size beds with custom-made artisanal furnishings and mid-century pieces. The décor will be contemporary, with original artworks throughout the property. All suites will overlook the exterior gardens, while the rooftop suites will have their own interior staircase leading up to a private rooftop garden with views of the Indian Ocean.
Amenities at this hotel will include an in-house gym, the Akademi “Centre of Mixology” created by mixologist Dre Masso and a specialty Spanish restaurant.
There will also be a 1,399 square foot pool set in a tropical garden.
The Katamama is located on Petitenget Beach in Seminyak, next to the award-winning Potato Head Beach Club.
