Las Vegas is renowned for its signature dining experiences, from gourmet extravaganzas to quick (but delicious) eats. Travel Agent has rounded up some of the latest new and upcoming developments for Vegas-bound foodies you should keep in mind.
Giada de Laurentiis Arrives at The Cromwell
The Cromwell Las Vegas, the new boutique hotel from Caesar's Entertainment, will have a secret weapon up its sleeve when it debuts on May 21: the first restaurant from Food Network and Today Show personality Giada de Laurentiis. The new restaurant, GIADA, will offer al fresco dining and an exhibition kitchen showcasing fresh pastas being made daily by hand and a signature antipasto bar.
GIADA can accommodate 260 guests and has automatic retractable windows with views of the Bellagio fountains, Caesars Palace and Bally's Grand Bazaar Shops.
The menu will embrace De Laurentiis' Roman heritage with Californian influences for a new, lighter take on the traditional Italian cuisine. Signature dishes include Lemon Spaghetti, Eggplant Rollatini, Marsala Herb Chicken Meatballs and Lemon Ricotta Cookies.

Guy Fieri's New Vegas Restaurant
Another Food Network alum recently arrived on the Vegas scene: Guy Fieri's new restaurant, Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar, opened April 17 at The Quad Resort & Casino.
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., the 200-seat restaurant offers Fieri's signature take on American casual food, serving burgers, wings, tacos, small bites and shareable items.
The drink menu offers 16 craft beers, in addition to a Sonoma County wine selection and a frozen tap system shot bar. Instead of having shots strained or mixed with ice, which then run the risk of getting diluted, the frozen tap system bar dispenses eight different shots straight out of iced dispensers.
The restaurant has a large outdoor patio and dining area with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip, as well as design elements inspired by Fieri's local alma mater, UNLV.
Vegas Uncork'd Celebrity Golf Tees Off This Weekend
For a very last-minute idea, clients bound for Vegas this weekend might be able to golf with famed Italian chef Mario Batali as part of the Vegas Uncork'd Swing Session on Saturday, May 10.
Other attending celebrities include Bon Appétit Editor-in-Chief Adam Rapoport, Michael Symon, Morgan Spurlock and more. 100 percent of ticket sales will benefit the Mario Batali Foundation.
Coming Up: Tom's Urban and Shake Shack Arrive This December
Clients looking for a quick bite will have two new options starting this December: Tom's Urban and Shake Shack are set to open in the new pedestrian plaza of New York - New York Hotel & Casino.
The new location will be the first for Shake Shack, which serves gourmet burgers and shakes, in the Western United States. The new location will have a patio overlooking both MGM Resorts International's upcoming park and entertainment district as well as New York-New York's Brooklyn Bridge.
Tom's Urban offers a modern menu with offerings that range from Butter Poached Lobster + Shrimp Tacos to Xiangxiang Crispy Duck Wings to Tailgater Bratwurst Breakfast sliders, as well as a selection of craft cocktails and beer. The restaurant opened its first location in Denver in 2012 and its second earlier this year at L.A. LIVE in Southern California.
