Lindblad Offers Up to $2,000 Off on National Geographic Explorer Sailing

Lindblad Expeditions is offering a $2,000 discount, as well as a complimentary charter flight between Ushuaia and Buenos Aires and three free additional days in Buenos Aires with accommodations at the Caesar Park Hotel for guests who book their 24-day journey aboard the National Geographic Explorer.

The trip begins on October 17, 2011. The 24-day itinerary includes a stop at South Georgia Island, Peninsula Valdes (the main breeding site for the endangered southern right whales) and a two-day stop in the Falkland Islands. The Falklands is comprised of over 700 individual islands and home to the largest albatross colony, Gentoo, Rockhopper and Magellanic penguins, and herds of sea lions and elephant seals.

The ice-class vessel is equipped kayaks and a fleet of Zodiac landing craft, allowing passengers to experience the region firsthand. The Explorer will host numerous lextures led by specialists and will be accompanied by a National Geographic photographer. This voyage will include award-winning filmmaker Keenan Smart, Executive Producer of National Geographic’s “Great Migration” series.
