Mandarin Oriental to Open Luxury Hotel in Beijing

Beijing will be getting a new Mandarin Oriental luxury hotel just in time for the Beijing Olympic Games. The 241-room Mandarin Oriental, Beijing is slated to open in mid-2008. The hotel will be in the new, landmark headquarters of China Central Television, located in the central business district of Beijing. The 203 guestrooms and 38 suites are said to among the largest in the city. The hotel will feature six dining and cocktail venues; The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Beijing, with 11 treatment rooms; and a circular ballroom surrounded by a ring of water.
