Soho House Mexico City to Debut in 2023

The first Soho House in Latin America is scheduled to open in Mexico City in early 2023. Located in the heart of Colonia Juárez, Soho House Mexico City is set in a restored casa.

Formerly a private residence, Soho House Mexico City reflects the historic French influences and baroque heritage. Its interior comprises multiple intimate rooms and cellar corridors with unique identities.

“Mexico City is an exciting opening for Soho House as it marks our first location in Latin America. We’ve had a presence in the city since 2017 through our Cities Without Houses program, and we are delighted to bring a physical space that is both historic and grand.” said Jarrett Stuhl, chief operating officer, Soho House the Americas, in a written statement. "This House is one of our most ambitious design projects, and we look forward to welcoming our members and future members to experience the rich and vibrant culture of Mexico City."

The property will include a Casa and Annex, housing three bars and lounges, a restaurant and a courtyard with outdoor dining. Soho House Design, the club concept’s in-house team, will curate the spaces with a mixture of locally made custom furniture and vintage pieces from Mexican designers and abroad, including an art collection of more than 100 works from artists born, based or trained in Mexico. The grounds are anchored by an outdoor pool, offering indoor and outdoor seating with a Pool House bar and dining room, with a bright interior filled with greenery.

Membership applications are open. Soho House Mexico City will be accessible to members and their guests only. Local House membership gives access to Soho House Mexico City, and Every House membership offers access to Soho Houses across the world.

Founded in 1995 by Nick Jones, Soho House is a place for members to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Today, there are members and houses worldwide, as well as restaurants, spas, workspaces and cinemas.
