Milliennials in Travel has kickstarted its Industry Opportunities program designed to help its members learn about open positions within all sectors of the travel industry.
How it works: Employers are asked to complete a form with information that matters most to the millennial generation and that information is accessible to qualified members on the organization's website, www.millennialsintravel.com, and promoted through their social media channels. Millennials in Travel has two dedicated national managers working on the program: Tara Gay with Wanderwe.com in California and Sandra Thomas- Comenole with Celtic Tours in New York.
The Millennials in Travel Industry Opportunities Program offers two options including a referral model and an advertising model appealing to both large and small companies who seek to find qualified millennial employees.
Along with this new program, Millennials in Travel will launch a New York City chapter on January 30 at a reception hosted by the Refinery Hotel in the Fashion District.
"Millennials in New York City have been waiting for us to launch because they want networking opportunities exclusive to our generation," Caitlin Murphy, director of events, said in a statement. "We are excited to continue growing the brand and even more excited to be hosted by the Refinery Hotel.
Leading the NYC chapter is Michael Nobilettie with Rollinglobe.com, Dane Steele Green with Steele Luxury Travel, Thibaut Asso with Carlisle Bay, Stephanie Newby with Travel Leaders, Michael Coletta with Fantrotter.com and Phillip LaRue with American Express.
