Langham Plans First Boutique Hotel in Shanghai

Langham Hotels International (www.langhamhotels.com) has announced plans for its first boutique hotel, a 1930s Art Deco property in Shanghai, China. The hotel, in the heart of the city's central business district, will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation and reopen in mid-2008 as The Langham Yangtze Boutique. Kempinski Resort Opens Ayurvedic Spa

The five-star Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach, Kerala (www.theleela.com) in southwest India has opened an 8,000-square-foot Divya Spa and Ayurvedic Center.

Spa packages include beach-view deluxe rooms, one-on-one consultations with on-staff ayurvedic doctors, herbal medicines and a daily 75-minute therapeutic massage.
