Pacific Delight Tours reports an air-inclusive option for its eight-night China Impressions Silver Experience program from $2,499 per person, double occupancy, based on departures from Los Angeles or San Francisco (add $200 per person for JFK). Departures are guaranteed with a minimum of two passengers, Pacific Delight says.
The tour begins in Beijing with stops at the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. This will be supplemented by additional sightseeing at the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After Xi'an, the program culminates in Shanghai.
The itinerary features deluxe accommodations from the Grand New World Hotel in Xi'an to Marriott properties in Beijing and Shanghai.
Eric Oborski, president of Pacific Delight Tours, noted that travel agents can increase their commissions with several add-on options including five-star river cruises on the Yangtze with Victoria Cruises.
