Insight Vacations has appointed Kristina Miranda as its new director of national and key accounts for Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold. She joins Janet Anderson and Richard Sims in managing all aspects of national accounts for the two brands. One of her main responsibilities will be to grow and develop Insight and Luxury Gold’s new preferred relationship with Virtuoso.
Miranda will be based in Sherman Oaks, CA, and will report to Phil Cappelli, the president of Insight and Luxury Gold, starting January 29.
A 2000 graduate of the University of San Diego, where she studied business administration, Miranda spent the last five-and-a-half years at AmaWaterways. In her most recent role as director of national accounts, she managed business strategy and relationships, grew sales and developed new business.
Prior to that, Miranda was a group specialist/account manager, and a river cruise specialist. Before joining AmaWaterways, Miranda was the director of events and operations for a catering and event planning firm in San Diego.
Insight Vacations is an escorted travel company with award-winning itineraries to destinations in Europe and North America.
