Kaanapali Beach Hotel on Maui has announced three staffing changes, including the promotion of John White to director of sales and marketing and the additions of Richard Pata as marketing manager and Jenny Greene as online sales and marketing manager.
In this current role, White spearheads all global sales and marketing efforts for Kaanapali Beach Hotel, its sister property, The Plantation Inn, and various food and beverage outlets.
White began his management role nearly five years ago with Kaanapali Beach Hotel as associate director of sales and marketing where he led key initiatives and worked across hotel leadership to validate and reinforce Hawaiian values through various programming.
A fixture in Maui tourism since 2003, White previously served as president of the popular adventure companyGo Zip.
After nearly 10 years in the “sunshine” state of California, Pata said he is thrilled to return home to Maui to fulfill the role of Kaanapali Beach hotel’s marketing manager in a written release.
Pata brings comprehensive management, retail marketing and art direction to his new role, in which he will spearhead Kaanapali Beach Hotel’s marketing division and handle all marketing and creative needs for the beachfront hotel.
In her current position, Greene manages the hotel’s social media channels, online travel agent accounts and online reviews. Most recently, Greene spearheaded the launch of the property’s brand new, fully optimized website. In her new role, she looks forward to increasing brand awareness.
Greene joins the team at Kaanapali Beach Hotel after serving as the marketing manager and event coordinator for the Lahaina Town Action Committee, where she handled graphic design, public relations and events for the non-profit.
