Ken Muskat Leaving MSC Cruises at Year's End

Late Tuesday, Alyssa Goldfarb, director of public relations, MSC Cruises USA, confirmed that Ken Muskat, executive vice president of sales, public relations and guest services, based in the line's Fort Lauderdale office, "is planning to leave MSC Cruises at the end of December to pursue a new opportunity."

She provided this statement on the company's behalf: "In the 3.5 years that Ken has been at MSC Cruises, he has been instrumental in driving MSC’s expansion in the U.S. market, overseeing the North American teams responsible for generating sales on both the trade and consumer front and helping raise brand awareness.

"Ken has been a tremendous asset to the company and we are extremely fortunate to have benefited from his industry expertise and leadership over the past few years. We wish Ken all the best in his future endeavors."

Muskat, who is also chairman of CLIA's trade relations committee, responded to Travel Agent and said the "announcement on where I am going will be coming." Stay tuned and we'll report that as it unfolds.
