Mobil Travel Guide Announces 2008 Awards

Mobil Travel Guide has unveiled its list of four- and five-star hotels, restaurants and spas for 2008, marking the company's 50th anniversary. Several of Mobil Travel Guide's five-star properties are celebrating record achievements. The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs will mark its 48th year on the Mobil five-star list, making it the longest-running five-star property in Mobil Travel Guide's history. Several new additions to the Mobil five-star list will be the first properties in their respective states to be awarded the honor, including the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, WY, and the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, UT.

This year, Mobil Travel Guide added eight properties to the five-star list, including Boston Harbor Hotel, The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island in South Carolina, the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole and the Stein Eriksen Lodge. The other additions comprise three restaurants--the Georgian Room in Sea Island, GA, The Inn at Dos Brisas in Brenham, TX, and Le Bernardin in New York-and one spa, the Spa at the Sanctuary in South Carolina. Mobil also added 50 hotels, restaurants and spas to its four-star roster for 2008. Visit http://www.mobiltravelguide.com. (DB)
