New York City’s Eventi, A Kimpton Hotel, has appointed Eugenia Simons to the position of hotel manager. Simons, an experienced hotel manager, will report directly to general manager Thomas Mathes and will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the front office, facilities, banquets, security and housekeeping departments.

Simons possesses nearly 10 years of hotel management experience with such brands that include W Hotels and Westin. Most recently, Simons served as the director of operations at the W Hoboken where she was a key member of the opening team and achieved a 95 percent employee satisfaction rate. Simons also served as the director of rooms at the W Times Square, as the executive housekeeper at The Waldorf-Astoria New York City and as the director of service express at the Westin New York at Times Square.
