Scenic Appoints Joelle Davis as VP of US Brand Management

Scenic has announced the appointment of experienced cruise industry leader Joelle Davis to the newly-created position of vice president of brand management. In her role, Davis will oversee the U.S. brand management team and be responsible for product marketing and pricing, digital marketing, competitive analysis, sales training, event management, lead development and creative services. She will take on the role in Scenic’s Boston office.

Previously, Davis spent 22 years with Grand Circle Corporation, a small-ship cruise and land travel company where she established herself working in finance, worldwide operations, marketing and brand management. During her tenure with Grand Circle Corporation, Davis worked to shift the company’s marketing program to a digitally focused strategy.

Scenic offers all-inclusive escorted tours in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas and more while maintaining a high level of expertise. The company also offers all-inclusive river cruises in Europe and the Mekong, Irrawaddy and Russia.

Space-Ships, the name for Scenic’s river cruise vessels, offer guests access to wellness areas, hair salons, gyms, and luxurious accommodations. Launching in August 2018 is Scenic's newest vessel, Scenic Eclipse, billed as “the world’s first discovery yacht.” The Eclipse will embark on its inaugural voyage from Istanbul to Venice before sailing to the Americas, Antarctica, Europe and the Mediterranean; and the Arctic and Norwegian Fjords.  Scenic Eclipse will accommodate 228 guests and combine luxury, discovery and state-of-the-art safety.
