Tourism Cares Announces Scholarship Opportunities

Tourism Cares will award 35 scholarships academic scholarship in 2007 to students studying travel, tourism or hospitality. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $3,500 and are open to those in undergraduate or graduate programs. Continuing in 2007 is the opportunity for scholarship recipients to network and experience the industry courtesy of Tourism Cares' Experiential Learning program. "Academic scholarship recipients will be invited to attend the Tourism Cares Experience the Industry Student Program at the National Tour Association's annual convention being held in Kansas City, Missouri from November 1 through 6, 2007," says Bruce Beckham, executive director of Tourism Cares.
