JetBlue To Launch Boston-Baltimore/Washington Flights

JetBlue is announcing today that it will launch four daily, nonstop flights between Boston's Logan International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport beginning September 9. The service will bolster JetBlue's service to the Washington, D.C. region as it comes in addition to the six daily flights between Boston and Washington Dulles.

Southbound flights will depart Boston at 6:35 a.m., 10:50 a.m., 3:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. and land in Baltimore/Washington at 8:03 a.m., 12:16 p.m., 5:16 p.m. and 8:33 p.m., respectively. Northbound flights take off from Baltimore/Washington at 8:40 a.m., 12:55 p.m., 5:55 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., and land in Boston at 10:04 a.m., 2:23 p.m., 7:26 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. respectively. Prices start at $39 each way for flights purchased before May 4.

The carrier's new service will be in competition with Southwest Airlines' service between Boston and Baltimore/Washington.

Other upcoming new routes from Boston by Jetblue include nonstop service to San Francisco International Airport (begins May 1), Los Angeles International Airport (begins June 17) and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (begins June 19).
