$270 Million Grand Del Mar Now Open

San Diego's $270 million Grand Del Mar, a 249-room Mediterranean-style resort owned and operated by Manchester Grand Resorts, celebrated its grand opening on October 6. Rooms range from an introductory rate of $395 for the 600-square-foot Standard Room, to $4,500 per night for the 2,840-square-foot Presidential Suite, which comes with five high-definition TVs, an indoor/outdoor fireplace and an expansive private terrace. The resort includes four swimming pools, a spa, restaurants, two tennis courts, and the 18-hole Grand Golf Club, San Diego's only Tom Fazio-designed course.
