Acclaim Meetings To Train Agents in Meeting & Events Business

Acclaim Meetings (which is owned by American Marketing Group) is conducting free training for travel agents in the lucrative meeting and events business. The convenient webinars will take place over the coming weeks to provide independent travel agencies with the end-to-end strategies, resources and education they need to successfully capture this market segment.

“We highly encourage any travel agent who is even thinking about offering a meeting and events planning service to sign up for one of our events,” said Anne Marie Moebes, executive vice president, Acclaim Meetings. “Even with the recent restrictions placed on corporations by the government, companies still need to meet face-to-face to conduct business. In fact, they now need help more than ever to stay within budget parameters, and here is a tremendous opportunity for travel agencies to generate entirely new revenue streams for their businesses, especially with small to mid-sized meetings and groups. Now is the time to seize this niche, and our Acclaim Meetings program and trainings help travel agencies do just that.”

Offered to TRAVELSAVERS, TWIN, TRAVEL HELPLINE, NEST and agent24 agencies, the free 30-minute webinars are conducted over a secure server. Travel agents have the opportunity to increase their revenue potential by learning meeting planning skills through hands-on demonstrations, all without ever having to leave their offices. The next sessions are scheduled for March 26, April 9 and April 30.
