Host travel agency Andavo Travel completed its 11th annual AndavoMart event with a total of 107 attendees, held at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead in Atlanta, GA, from October 13-15, 2017.
Sixty-five travel advisors and Andavo employees from 15 states traveled to Atlanta, GA, for the opportunity to network and receive one-on-one training from 42 of the world’s leading luxury travel suppliers including Marriott International Luxury Brands, Classic Vacations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Virtuoso, Abercrombie & Kent, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Belmond, and many more.
This year’s AndavoMart included an Advisory Council meeting, one-on-one training sessions with Andavo staff members, vendor-hosted meals/breaks, plus site inspections of the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta and the Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta. Additional agenda items included educational presentations, peer networking opportunities, and an expanded vendor fair. AndavoMart 2017 attendees even had the chance to visit Delta Air Lines’ world headquarters for a behind-the-scenes tour of their Operations/Customer Center, followed by a hosted dinner at the Delta Flight Museum.
In a written release, Andavo Travel CEO Mike Cameron said that the event’s proximity to Delta’s headquarters, as well as Andavo’s preferred relationship with the airline, afforded attendees the opportunity to have a VIP tour of Delta’s operations and customer center.
