Altour Opens Baton Rouge Office

Independent travel agency Altour recently opened a new office in Baton Rouge, LA, in response to the rapidly growing Louisiana motion-picture production industry. In recent years, Louisiana has become a favored film production destination because the state offers one of the highest film tax rebates in the U.S.

The new office location is the company’s 68th office in the U.S.  Altour’s Entertainment Division, which has been in existence for more than 18 years, handles all aspects of travel logistics for the motion picture and television industry including, commercial airline contracts, private charters, hotel contracts, residential leases, cargo shipping and helicopter transport.

In recent months, Altour has been retained by such major film studios as Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Universal and Lionsgate, and has facilitated travel for several upcoming films, including: “The Next Three Days,” “Limitless” and “X-Men: First Class.”
