Amadeus reports it is hosting a “Back to Basics 2012” online roadshow event for North American travel agents on July 10th from 2:00 – 6:00pm EST which will also be available for on-demand viewing afterward.
The virtual event will focus on going ‘back to the basics’ of selling travel and helping agents simplify their business through advanced technology that is easy to use, Amadeus says.
“Over the past months, Amadeus has hosted successful 'Back to Basics' roadshow events in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. Now we are bringing that same experience right to the travel agent’s desktop. We want to provide agents with the opportunity to easily and conveniently explore our latest solutions designed to help them streamline and grow their businesses,” said Scott Gutz, president and CEO of Amadeus North America.
During the free online event, Amadeus will showcase new and flagship products and services for travel agents in North America including Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, Amadeus Cruise Shopper, Amadeus e-Power and Amadeus Direct. Gutz will also discuss industry trends, the future of travel, and the evolved role of the travel agent of tomorrow, “Travel Agent 3.0.”
On-demand/replay viewing capability will be available to allow viewers to pick and choose specific topics, product demos, and sessions at their leisure and based on interest.
