America's Vacation Center Affiliate Honored

Cindy Jabbour, an independent affiliate of America's Vacation Center (AVC), was named as an American Express 2009 Representative Pacesetter. The award marks the third consecutive year that an America's Vacation Center Independent Affiliate has achieved this recognition. AVC said Jabbour  delivers exceptional performance and top-notch service.

"Cindy is an entrepreneurial business owner who is constantly raising the bar in travel and her clients overwhelmingly share their excitement over her vacation-planning expertise," said Van Anderson, co-president of America's Vacation Center. "She is an outstanding professional in every way, and America's Vacation Center is proud to be associated with Cindy."

Pacesetters are the top-producing travel professionals across the American Express Representative Network, and are chosen based on their sales performance, superior level of customer service, and involvement in the travel agent community. The American Express Pacesetter Program is one of the longest-running recognition programs within the American Express Travel Representative Network.

"The American Express Pacesetter Award is the most elite form of recognition a travel agent can receive within the American Express network," said Ellen Bettridge, vice president, Retail Travel Network, American Express Travel. "Each pacesetter is carefully selected based on their leadership role in the travel agency community and their exemplary level of performance and customer service. We applaud Cindy for her achievements, and we wish her continued success."

Jabbour has also recently been named as a Top Performing Agency for 2008 by America's Vacation Center, ranking her among the most successful sellers of travel in North America.
