America's Vacation Center Hosts Third Annual Conference

America’s Vacation Center/Avoya Travel (AVC) announced it will hold its 2010 National Conference for its network of independent affiliates from November 18 to 23. Entitled ‘Hello Future: Expanding Your World!’ the six-day event will be held on both land and sea in conjunction with Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas inaugural. The conference will start in Fort Lauderdale.

“The 2010 National Conference is an opportunity for our Independent Affiliates to network with top visionaries in the travel industry and prepare for what the future holds for our industry,” said Brad Anderson, co-president of AVC,

The conference will focus on the future of the travel industry and how independent affiliates can adapt their agencies with the changes of tomorrow’s traveling consumer. The conference’s land component, November 18 to November 20, will include training, networking and recognition. It will also feature keynote addresses from leading industry executives, ship inspections, a two-day trade show and the Chairman’s Gala.

On Sunday, November 21, attendees will board the new Allure of the Seas for its inaugural sailing. While onboard, AVC’s agents will have the opportunity to attend special events and experience the ship’s features.
