American Express Travel reports the launch of its Gold Hotel Collection for Gold Card members. Travel agents can now bring a more personalized experience with a variety of benefits at top lodging brands throughout the world - tailored specifically for American Express Gold Card members, AMEX says.
Similar to the Fine Hotels & Resorts program for Platinum Card members, the Gold Hotel Collection brings Gold Card members offerings such as room upgrades at check in (if available), a complimentary $75 hotel or resort credit and exceptionally low rates, the company says.
American Express says the Gold Hotel Collection also offers vacation and cruise packages, allowing Gold Card members to enjoy a vacation amenity valued at $100 with participating partners when booking within a qualifying Gold Card Destinations vacation package.
Card members seeking a cruise vacation will receive a cruise amenity valued at $150 with participating partners when booking a qualifying Gold Card Destinations cruise.
