Apple Vacations is expanding its digital marketing tools for travel agents with a new, agent-exclusive Social Media Board. The new tool is accessible via the tour operator’s revamped Travel Agent Café.
The new Social Media Board has ready-made posts, developed by marketing experts, which are instantly shareable on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, Apple Vacations said. With one click, travel agents can share engaging content including photos and videos, customer testimonials, animated graphics, blog posts and more, to enhance their online presence and ultimately, inspire bookings.
Each month, Apple Vacations will upload new content to the Social Media Board to provide travel professionals with fresh material they can include on their profiles. These ready-to-go posts can be combined with additional marketing resources found on the café, such as customizable e-flyers and web banners, for a well-rounded social media plan that will garner interest from clients through fun and informational content.
The Social Media Board also highlights travel professionals that are "Social Media Rockstars" to show agents examples of successful strategies used by industry experts. For additional support, travel agents can refer to the recently launched Social Media Agent Resources and Training (S.M.A.R.T.) program, which is also housed on the Travel Agent Café. The S.M.A.R.T. program provides insight on how to create engaging posts, work with influencers and appeal to various demographics. It includes how-to videos, tutorials and guidelines on the best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms.
