At LTX, Vacation Express Details New Hotels, Flights From NYC

punta canaVacation Express, a vertically integrated tour operator/resort provider that launches charter flights to the Caribbean and Mexico, is opening a slew of new hotels in the Caribbean.

Travel Agent sat down with Kevin Hernandez, vice president of sales and digital strategy, as part of our ongoing coverage of the 2013 Luxury Travel Exchange International. We heard that Vacation Express will be launching a new hotel brand called Royalton, which will debut in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, as well as in Jamaica. They will also be opening a Memories Splash resort in Punta Cana with an expansive water park. Soon to come will be another Memories on Grand Bahama, as well.

The company operates charter flights with Sunwing, Aeromexico and Miamiair. There are 11 gateways in the US flying to Cancun, Punta Cana and Jamaica. As of December, the company will launch scheduled and charter flights from New York City's airports.
