Australia's Voyages Hotels and Resorts has named Anna Guillan executive general manager for sales & marketing. Guillan joins Voyages from the Mulpha Hotel Group, where she held the dual role of director of strategy sales and marketing for Mulpha and director of sales and marketing for Hayman Island Resort. Previously, Guillan was director of sales and marketing at the Hotel InterContinental Sydney. She has also served on industry advisory panels for Tourism Australia and Tourism Queensland.
Voyages also announced travel agent rates at its hotels through March 31. Sample rates are AUD$316.80 (approximately US$280), including all meals and some beverages, at Lizard Island and Bedarra Island resorts on the Great Barrier Reef; AUD$58.80, including breakfast, at Voyages Brampton Island; AUD$59.20 at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort; and AUD$118.00, including breakfast, at Silky Oaks Lodge & Healing Waters Spa near the Daintree Rainforest on Australia's northeast coast.
