Calling All Talented Travel Professionals Under 40

In March, we announced the launch of our Young Leaders Conference, which will take place December 7 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Since then we have received an incredible response, secured the best young talent in the industry for our inaugural steering committee and are on our way to producing the premier conference for travel professionals under 40.

The Young Leaders Conference will foster an environment where young professionals in the travel industry can learn from each other’s experiences, share industry knowledge and discuss career matters. The conference will include peer-to-peer networking, relevant education and career development.

The sessions of the conference will cover topics such as technology and social media. This advanced training will help travel professionals maximize their marketing opportunities through social media outlets. What have travel professionals done to promote themselves and their businesses through the various social media sites? The open-dialogue/town-hall format of this conference will allow participants to share and hear success stories.

Another key topic will be personal development. In today’s high-tech world, it’s almost impossible not to stay connected. It’s harder than ever to manage expectations of clients outside of work hours. How do you maintain a business/personal life balance? That’s a sneak peek to what you can expect on Tuesday, December 7, and if you have any suggestions or ideas, contact me today.
