Carlson Hotels Worldwide has hired Brett Zabel to serve as director, travel industry relationships. This is a newly created position where Zabel is responsible for driving synergy between Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Carlson Hotels Worldwide. In his new position, Zabel will work closely with the travel group over a variety of departments, including global supplier relations, CWT Hotel Solutions Consulting group, account management, product management, government and operations to uncover new opportunities for both organizations. Prior to this position, Zabel was with Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where he spent seven years in two areas: as manager of global supplier relations and global project manager for CWT Solutions Group.
