Centrav Launches Consolidator Mobile Fares Site

Agent booking website, Centrav, has launched the air consolidator industry’s first mobile site for travel agents with net airfares. Until now, Centrav says, mobile technology has only worked for published fares, giving travel agents a mobile disadvantage.

Now, by using an iPhone, iPad or Android device, travel agents can search and book flights, make payments, add commissions, e-mail itineraries to their clients and perform all of the key functionalities necessary to sell net airfares while on the go.

Centrav says it has tested its mobile site with travel agents and earned rave reviews.

“We wanted to give travel agents the power to book net airfares and add commissions while away from their office,” Centrav’s president, Ethan Screnock said. “Travel agents need every advantage they can get to compete in today’s market.”

Centrav’s mobile website is free for use by travel agents and may be accessed at

. Agents can use their existing Centrav.com login information to sign on and can access their previous bookings on either the mobile site or traditional online website.

Centrav has been serving travel agents since 1988. The website offers access to more than 700 different airlines, enabling agents to book domestic and international flights to destinations worldwide.
