CLIA Introduces New Way for Agents to Promote Cruising

The Cruise Lines International Association on Tuesday came out with details of its third annual World's Largest Cruise Night, a one-day travel agency initiative to teach agents how to reach more potential cruise clients. The event will be held October 17 and have a new virtual spin. Targeting the influx of home-based agents, the virtual component will allow agents to host an event online where agents can customize a web page featuring their information and post video. A unique URL can then be established that can be distributed to clients and new prospects, inviting them to participate in the event remotely. Over 700 agencies conducted an event last year.
