Cruise Holidays Honors Top Owners and Agents

Cruise Holidays International’s top-selling cruise consultants were recognized during Cruise Holidays’ 2013 Annual Convention aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Breakaway. Two franchise owners received the groups Golden Anchor award.

The Cruise Holidays franchise owners were recognized for contributing a significant amount of knowledge, time and innovation toward the company and fellow franchise owners achieving their goals.

Awards were presented in the following categories:

Golden Anchor Award

Store Winner: Cruise Holidays Chicago on Magnificent Mile (Illinois) owned by Rob Clabbers
Virtual Office Winner: Shari Marsh, based in North Carolina

The Golden Anchor award celebrates the one store and one virtual office that stand out due to: participation in Cruise Holidays programs, attendance at Cruise Holidays meetings and conventions, use of Cruise Holidays tools to attain greater profitability, generating ideas or participating in focus groups to enhance the success of the network, and a willingness to help other franchisees reach their goals.

Best Customer Service Award

Winner: Muffett Grubb, based in Tennessee

All franchise owners and agents were invited to nominate themselves or another deserving travel agent based on an outstanding customer experience delivered in the past year. Grubb was chosen based on a situation that took place in Alaska this summer, when a cruise ship was idled by propulsion problems, and unable to leave port for four days.

Top Overall Producer Award

Store Winner: Cruise Holidays of Kansas City, owned by Mimi and Mark Comfort Virtual Office Winner: Sheri Clarke, based in Kentucky
Affiliate Winner: Cruise Brothers, a Cruise Holidays affiliate, owned by Steve Gelfuso

The award goes to the store, the virtual office, and the affiliate with the highest sailed revenue during the previous year, from July to June. Six Cruise Holidays of Kansas City travel consultants and one Cruise Holidays/Cruise Brothers travel consultant were also honored with the award for Outstanding Sales Achievement.

Cruise Holidays recognized 19 franchise owners and travel consultants who reached or exceeded a pre-determined amount in commission. The top achievers across the entire network are:
