Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation Sponsors Capitol Hill Ocean Week

CHOWThe Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation (CICF) recently donated $10,000 to support this year’s Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW), which will take place in Washington, D.C., from June 9-11.

During the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation (NMSF) event, political leaders meet with industry leaders, conservation advocates and academic experts to increase ocean conservation-awareness, develop connections between stakeholders and decision makers, celebrate achievements and advance policies and initiatives.

The NMSF strives to find solutions for business and conservation through science and ecosystem-based approaches by engaging in advocacy, education and community building via partnerships.
