Cruise Planners Launches 'Vote for Vacation' Campaign

cruise shipTaking advantage of high levels of interest in this years national elections, Cruise Planners - American Express Travel, reports it is celebrating National Cruise Vacation Month and the World’s Largest Cruise Event (WLCE), October 21-27, 2012 with a 'Vote for Vacation' campaign.

The WLCE is a spinoff of Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) National Cruise Vacation Week event during which travel agencies across North America promote the industry by hosting events, seminars and promotions, Cruise Planners notes. CLIA encourages agent participation in the WLCE.

“It is important for us to stay ahead of the competition and create innovative campaigns that get the consumers interested in what our agents have to offer and I think this year’s Vote for Vacation campaign is especially eye catching and fun for an election year,” said Michelle Fee, Cruise Planners co-founder and CEO.  

Cruise Planners says it has ramped up the World’s Largest Cruise Event with more approaches combining traditional promotional methods with the new tactics. 

In addition to the standard promotions being offered by the cruise lines, Cruise Planners says it will have access to deals such as reduced deposits, 2-for-1 cruise fares, exclusive upgrades and  shipboard credits.

The campaign includes some of the biggest names in cruising who have teamed up with Cruise Planners to provide exceptional deals to customers, Cruise Planners notes.

“Our strong industry relationships allow us to give the consumer the best prices and deals on the market with the greatest cruise lines for vacations that take travelers around the world,” said Fee.

Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Services Representative, has more than 800 franchises.
