CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. have announced that Robert Stephens, the founder of Geek Squad, will be the keynote speaker at their 2015 National Conference which takes place the week of November 14 aboard the brand-new Norwegian Escape.
“Technology and travel are two industries that have many similarities because they are constantly growing and evolving. I am thrilled to illustrate these parallels and use my small business success story as a way to inspire CruiseOne franchisees and Cruises Inc. agents in their entrepreneurial journey,” said Stephens.
Stephens’ will share how his series of small successes ultimately transformed Geek Squad into a growing business with national presence in Best Buy stores nationwide and in Canada. His keynote will focus on motivating attendees to think differently and approach their business from a new perspective.
The weeklong National Conference at sea provides vacation specialists the opportunity to connect with each other, suppliers and the corporate headquarters team to network, learn more about industry updates and brainstorm new ways to continue their business development, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. said. More than 30 interactive workshops and seminars will be offered, ranging from social media and sales strategies to product updates, technology support and more. Agents can also receive credit from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) for several of the classes, which count toward accreditation as a Certified Cruise Counselor by CLIA.
