CruiseOne, a leading cruise franchise, reports that, six months into 2010, it already surpassed the total number of new franchises signed in 2009. In 2009, CruiseOne signed on 68 new full franchises but by the end of June 2010, they had signed on 69 full franchises. And, CruiseOne says, so far this year, there has been close to zero attrition.
CruiseOne attributes its growth to several factors: redefined approach to recruitment, with a more selective process and "awarding" of new franchises, enhanced network development staff, increased network development marketing budget, innovative new "What's Behind the Curtain?" trade show concept and international expansion in Canada.
CruiseOne also believes the rebounding economy and a favorable consumer travel forecast have helped drive new travel agents to the company from other industries. And, CruiseOne also says, it benefits from strong supplier support. Consistently expanding training and marketing programs continue attracting expert agents from other hosts and franchise companies, CruiseOne says. The franchise has 600 members.
