Deadline Looms for Travel Impressions Ambassadors Program

Travel Impressions is reminding travel agents to submit applications for the TI Ambassadors Program before the  July 31, 2012 deadline. Applications are available on the Travel Impressions web site at www.TravImp.com/TIAmbassadors. The program will select  96 travel agents as advocates for select resort and destination partners of Travel Impressions. The program has eight hotel and destination partners.

Qualifications for Ambassadorship include the travel agent’s booking history with the destination or resort via Travel Impressions; personal experience and knowledge; plus communication skills and a willingness to share content through social media, TI says.

The selected agents will become year-long brand Ambassadors, with specific responsibilities each for one month, beginning in September 2012 through August 2013. Travel Impressions will guide Ambassadors on how they can effectively optimize the latest techniques in digital marketing and social media.

Travel Impressions reports it will also support the chosen advocates by collaborating on innovative promotions; generating public relations efforts; creating buzz among consumers to drive business to the Ambassadors; helping promote Ambassador status; and providing exclusive social media educational opportunities for Ambassadors.

"As travel agents are realizing the value that the TI Ambassadors Program provides, the excitement generated by this program is growing rapidly throughout the industry. We have already received over 700 applications," said Steve Gorga, president and CEO of Travel Impressions.

Ambassadors will be awarded a five-night stay at the partner they have been selected to represent. As an added bonus, Ambassadors will receive TI Ambassador Extras. Ambassadors’ customers will enjoy a $100 Travel Impressions Future Travel Credit that can be redeemed only through them.

Ambassadors will also receive a year-long $50 Booking Bonus for bookings made to their partner. Ambassadors will also have an opportunity to attend a private half-day social media workshop hosted by Travel Impressions.

The eight hotel and destination program partners of the TI Ambassadors Program are: All-Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels; AMResorts; Atlantis, Paradise Island; Cancun, Mexico; Excellence Group Luxury Hotels & Resorts; Palace Resorts and Le Blanc Spa Resort; Sandals & Beaches Resorts and the Island of Aruba.
