Former Contiki Latin America Sales Director Hired by Avoya Travel

Avoya Travel has named travel industry veteran Mark Junette its new director of network sales. Junette will be responsible for growing the company’s network of independent affiliates and for implementing new sales and training programs to expand agents businesses and increase incomes.

Junette will develop initiatives to attract travel entrepreneurs to affiliate their businesses with Avoya Travel. In addition, Junette will oversee independent affiliate training programs that will boost sales effectiveness and encourage growth and efficiencies.

“Mark’s expertise and background in sales and travel will further support Avoya Travel’s talented entrepreneurs and connect them with travelers worldwide,” said Brad Anderson, co-president of Avoya Travel.

Prior to joining he served as vice president of sales at The Travel Corporation for Contiki Vacations where he directed the national team of regional sales managers and was the point-person for all U.S. and Latin American agencies. Junette has previously held executive positions as the international director of sales for Gordon’s Guide web portal and a regional sales manager for Collette Vacations.
